AMA COVID-19 Telehealth Impact Survey

July 21, 2020

The American Medical Association (AMA), in collaboration with MITRE, Mayo and others, as part of an effort of the COVID-19 Healthcare Coalition, has issued a Telehealth Impact Physician survey to study the use to telehealth during the COVID-19 PHE. Since the start of the pandemic, physicians have experienced a significant shift towards the use of telehealth. The goal of this project is to learn more about physician experiences with telehealth and identify challenges and barriers, along with the benefits of providing care via telehealth. Responses will help identify additional resource requirements, provide insights for policymakers, and identify gaps in current research. Respondent and organization information will remain confidential and will only be reported in aggregate. The survey is expected to take up to 15-20 minutes and should be completed by August 13, 2020.
