Evaluation Instructions

Live Meeting - In-Person and Virtual

  • To evaluate a session, log into one of the options below using the email address and password used to register for the meeting:
  • Find the session you attended in your Daily Schedule/Agenda and click the Session Evaluation button.
  • The first time you log in, be sure to review your information and select what type of credits you are seeking.
  • Complete the evaluation for the session.
  • You will need to do this for each session you attended.
  • The certificate in the evaluation system is your temporary certificate. The maximum credits that can be claimed can be found below.
    • Physician credits will be uploaded to your ASTRO Academy transcript approximately 30 days after you complete the evaluation.
  • You have until June 1, 2023, to claim CME (physicians) and until December 1, 2022, to claim CAMPEP (physicists) and MDCB (dosimetrists) credits.

Evaluation – onDemand

  • Log in to the Conference Planner using your astro.org credentials (the email address and password used to register for the meeting).
  • Click on the session you viewed and click Session Evaluation button.
  • The first time you log in, be sure to review your information and select what type of credits you are seeking.
  • Complete the evaluation for the session.
  • You will need to do this for each session you attended.
  • The certificate in the evaluation system is your temporary certificate. The maximum credits that can be claimed can be found below.

  • Physicians have until June 1, 2023, to claim CME. Physicists have until December 1, 2022 to claim CEUs.

Physicians

The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Live Meeting (Virtual/In-person): ASTRO designates this live course activity for a maximum of 36.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Meeting onDemand: ASTRO designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of 178.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

CME credits must be claimed by June 1, 2023.

Dosimetrists

This activity has been approved for 32.75 MDCB credits by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board.

Dosimetrists should only claim credit for their participation in the in-person meeting in San Antonio and should not claim credit for sessions watched onDemand or via the livestream.

MDCB credits must be claimed by December 1, 2022. Any credits claimed after the evaluation deadline will not be submitted to MDCB.

Physicists

This activity has been approved for a maximum of 36.67 Medical Physics Continuing Education Credits (MPCEC) by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Program (CAMPEP).

CAMPEP credits must be claimed by December 1, 2022. Any credits claimed after the evaluation deadline will not be submitted to CAMPEP.

Nurses/Therapists/Other Medical Professionals

This activity is not approved for nursing and/or therapist or other medical professional CEUs. You may print a certificate of attendance by completing the meeting evaluation.


Maintenance of Certification

ASTRO is awarded Deemed Status by the American Board of Radiology to provide Self-Assessment CME (SA-CME) as part of Part II Maintenance of Certification. Live SA-CME sessions offer a maximum of 11.25 American Board of Radiology©, MOC Part II, SA-CME. Physicians and physicists should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

SA-CME credits must be claimed by December 1, 2022.


Disclosure of Vested Interest

ASTRO is an accredited provider of continuing medical education. Since our accreditation is important to us, we plan activities that are compliant with the ACCME and the content or format of CME activities, and related materials will promote improvements or quality in health care and not a specific proprietary business interest or commercial bias. Planning Committee members and speakers are required to disclose the existence of any financial or other relationship with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) or provider(s) of any commercial services discussed in an educational presentation.

Any conflicts of interest are resolved prior to participation. In addition to written disclosure, presenters will disclose any vested interest or their intention to discuss off-label use of pharmaceuticals or devices, if applicable, to the audience at the beginning of their presentation and in accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education standards and the Food and Drug Administration requirements.

In an effort to increase transparency and easy access to all disclosures, ASTRO's Faculty, Committee and Planner disclosure information will be available online in the 2022 Annual Meeting Conference Planner. In addition, disclosure slides will be shown at the beginning of each session and every presenter is also required to display their disclosure. Disclosure information will not be printed in paper versions of the meeting materials.
