Grant Writing Workshop

This session will be presented online as part of the Digital XP Platform as a live webinar with live Q&A and will not be held in-person in Chicago. Live meeting attendees can still register and participate, but will need to do so from their own computer and location.
This workshop equips the attendees with essential skills and resources to develop competitive grant proposals:
- Formulate grant proposals from ideas
- Develop Specific Aims & Project Narrative
- Successful researchers’ “Secret Sauce” on topics such as finding the right mentor, establishing an appropriate budget, and interpreting/reacting to summary statements
- Real (redacted, non-public) grant applications which demonstrate how experienced researchers structured their proposals
- Mock Study Section led by a highly respected NIH Scientific Review Officer
- One-on-one consultation with workshop faculty to receive specific feedback and advice
- A list of relevant funding sources recommended by radiation oncology researchers
