Live SA-CME Sessions

Special sessions have been designated as Self-Assessment CME (SA-CME) sessions to help physicians and physicist attendees meet the requirements of the American Board of Radiology’s (ABR) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. The target audience for these sessions is physicians who are maintaining their ABR certification.

All SA-CME sessions are open to the paid meeting attendees, but only those registrants that purchased during registration can participate in the SA-CME component of these sessions.

SA-CME Directions

  1. Log in to the ASTRO Academy.
    Login: ASTRO credentials (email address)
    PW: ASTRO credentials (use the forgot password link if needed)
  2. Scroll down to see your purchased SA-CME session in your Pending Activities.
  3. Select your session and click "Take Course" and follow the steps to complete the assessment.
    • To complete the assessment, navigate the activity content through the course progress bar on the left.
    • To earn credit, you must attend the entire session and earn a minimum score of 80% on the assessment questions.
    • You may retake the assessment as needed.
    • Upon successful completion, you may view, print or save your Certificate by clicking the Completed tab.

OF NOTE:

  1. Complete the live SA-CME assessment by November 30, 2020 - no extensions will be given.
  2. Recordings of all SA-CME sessions can be accessed through the Annual Meeting platform for further review.
  3. No refunds, exchanges or transfers will be given.
  4. If you have any questions during or after the meeting email Education for help.

Participation Guidelines

  1. To earn credit for your participation, you must earn a minimum score of 80% on the assessment questions.
    • You may retake the assessment if needed.
    • If these minimum requirements are NOT met, credits will not be granted, and no refunds, exchanges or transfers will be given.
    • It is suggested that assessments be completed as soon as possible. The final deadline to complete your assessment is November 30, 2020.
  2. Upon successful completion of your assessment, please take a moment to complete the evaluation and claim your credit. (Your credit will not be awarded until you complete these steps.)
  3. From this point, you may view/print your certificate. You may also access your certificate by returning to ASTRO Academy and navigating to your completed courses in the “My Activities” tab.
  4. If you have any questions about how to access your course, please refer to the ASTRO Academy Help Center.

Live SA-CME Session Policies

  • No refunds, extensions or substitutions will be made for those registrants who, for any reason, were unable to attend, view the recording, or do not complete the assessment by the deadline.
  • While we encourage you to complete your live SA-CME assessments during or directly after each session is available, participants will have until November 30, 2020. After this date, ASTRO staff cannot extend access for you to complete your live SA-CME assessment.
