Welcome to the Practical Radiation Oncology (PRO) Program, a two-day program held Saturday and Sunday specifically designed for the community practice radiation oncologist. Program content is curated to keep in mind the ins and outs of a community practice and will include disease site reviews, case-based discussions, a coding update and a scientific overview.
Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Master Class

Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Master Class
Moderators: Ana P. Kiess MD, PhD; John Buatti MD, FASTRO
This ½ day training course is designed to teach practitioners everything they need to know to expand their practice into radiopharmaceutical therapy. It will provide an introduction to RPTs, basics of physics and radiobiology, and in-depth practical training in Ra-223, Lu-DOTATATE and Lu-PSMA including video/multimedia training.
Quick Pitch
9:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m.
In these live Quick Pitch Sessions, presenters summarize outcomes while highlighting key takeaways from their research in a fast-paced format with 5-minute, 5-slide presentations. After abstracts have been presented, attendees will participate in a live chat Q&A with moderators and abstract presenters. The session will end with a closing statement by the moderator.

Global and Domestic Prostate Cancer Disparities: Biology, Social Determinants, and Other Factors
Moderators: Curtiland Deville Jr, MD, Christina Chapman, MD, MS
The session will take the format of an engaging panel discussion with experts on social determinants of cancer outcomes (Mahal), biologic determinants of cancer outcomes (Yamoah), and global prostate cancer epidemiology (tentatively Folakemi Odedina PhD, University of Florida) each providing an overview of their research for 5-7 minutes, followed by moderator-led question and answer session.

The Cancer Breakthroughs session brings together several medical societies in a collaborative effort to provide a summary of this year’s groundbreaking cancer studies. It is important to the field of oncology to join forces while facilitating the synthesis of information in a way that can be put into practice promptly and globally.
