Virtual Coding and Coverage Seminar

Saturday, January 9, 2021

More convenient than ever to attend – now a one-day, online seminar!

“I am new to radiation oncology and resources available to understand correct coding are very limited. ASTRO is referenced as the authority for coding and documentation requirements. After participating in a Targeted Probe by CMS, I wish I had taken this Seminar beforehand.”--  2019 Coding and Coverage Seminar attendee

Due to the delay in the release of the proposed and final rules, this meeting has been moved to early 2021. This one-day virtual seminar will address the many factors that affect this complex and ever-changing aspect of clinical practice, with the goal of making clinical coding easier to understand and apply for your practice.

Attendees will learn:

  • Coverage and coding policies specific to the field of radiation oncology.
  • How CPT® codes for radiation oncology are developed.
  • How to assign accurate coding to a clinical case study.
  • How to apply coding for radiation oncology by modality.
  • How ongoing changes in health care policy may affect coding and coverage.
  • What health care reforms are on the horizon, and how they will affect radiation oncology reimbursement.
  • How ASTRO advocates on behalf of radiation oncology.

Please note: Along with your registration, you will receive an electronic and print version of the 2021 ASTRO Coding Resource when it becomes available if you have not previously purchased it separately.
