ASTRO's 60th Annual Meeting

Continuing Education Credits

To receive CME for the 2018 ASTRO Annual Meeting:

  1. Log in to the Conference Planner. – You are successfully logged in if your name is to the right of the Search bar.
  2. Click on Full Schedule.
  3. Locate the sessions you attended – they are organized by date and time.
  4. Click the green CE Eval button, complete the questions and click submit.
  5. Repeat the process until you have evaluated all sessions you attended.
  6. When done evaluating your sessions, at the top right side of the page click the blue button Submit to Complete Task.
    1. If you receive a message that you have incomplete selections, use the filters and select Filter by status and select unlocked. You will see any incomplete evaluations you need to finish.
    2. You can still add sessions after you click this button, simply complete steps 3-6 to submit again.
  7. Complete the Meeting Survey by clicking the Meeting Survey link and answer all the questions.
  8. You can now download or print your certificate.

You may also manage session evaluations by logging in, click CE Eval (upper left) and click Manage Session Evaluations. Sessions are organized by date and time. Select a session you attended and select Start Evaluation. Then follow steps 5-8 to complete.

Accessing Your Certificate

To access your certificate please complete ALL of the steps above. Once complete:

  • Make sure you see a green checkmark beside each task in the Task List.
    • If you do not have a green checkmark repeat the steps above.
  • Print your AMA, MDCB or CAMPEP Credit Certificate.
  • To get your Certificate of Attendance, select Download/print Certificate of Attendance.
  • Your credits will be uploaded to your ASTRO MOC Transcript approximately 45 days post meeting.
  • CAMPEP and MDCB credits will be uploaded to the appropriate accrediting body approximately 45 days post meeting.

Completing the Meeting Survey

  • Be sure to have completed all of your session evaluations.
  • Click on Meeting Survey on the left navigation of the Conference Planner.
  • Scroll down to the Task List and click on Meeting Survey.
  • Once you have completed both the CE Eval and Meeting Survey (there will be a green checkmark beside each one instead of the red x).
  • To print your Certificate, select Download/print AMA PRA certificate.
  • To get your Certificate of Attendance, select Download/print Certificate of Attendance.

Deadline

You have 45 days to complete your evaluations for continuing education credits. On December 7, 2018, the conference planner and App options for claiming credits will no longer be available. If you require a certificate of attendance after December 7, 2018, please contact us at elearning@astro.org.

Credit Statements

Physicians
The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

ASTRO designates this live activity for a maximum of 37.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Physicists
This activity has been approved for a maximum of 37.25 medical physics continuing education credits (MPCEC) by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP).

Dosimetrists
This activity has been approved for 33.5 MDCB credits by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board.

Nurses
This activity is no approved for nursing CEUs.

Therapists
The ASTRO educational program is not approved for Category A CE credits accepted by ARRT. However, the educational program of the ASRT Radiation Therapy Conference, held in conjunction with the ASTRO Annual Meeting, is approved for Category A credit accepted by ARRT. Learn more.

Planning Committee members and speakers are required to disclose the existence of any financial or other relationship with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) or provider(s) of any commercial services discussed in an educational presentation.

Any conflicts of interest are resolved prior to participation. Disclosure information will not be printed in paper versions of the meeting materials.
