Priority Points

  • Priority Points Criteria

    Your company has the opportunity to maximize its priority point earnings through continued participation as an exhibitor at the Annual Meeting and by taking advantage of opportunities through Ambassadorship, Corporate Membership, promotional marketing, advertising and educational grant support.

    The criteria below will be used to calculate your company’s priority points for the 2016 Annual Meeting booth selection process. Priority points are used as a guideline for booth placement based on the space an exhibitor has requested, but do not guarantee a specific booth location.

    Points accrued between August 1, 2014, and July 31, 2015, through Additional Earning Opportunities as indicated on the chart below will count toward your 2016 space selection. Annual Meeting Priority Points will be based on your 2015 exhibit and housing activity.

    Exhibit Rates

    Each Year Exhibited at the Annual Meeting 8 points per year
    Booth Size 2 points for every 100 square feet
    ASTRO Housing Center Usage 50 points
    Additional Earning Opportunities
    ASTRO Ambassadorship 300 points
    Corporate Membership 50 points
    Promotional Marketing or Advertising 4 points for each $1,000 spent
    Survivor Circle Passport Program 3 points
    Print Advertising (ASTROnews) 2 points for each $1,000 spent
    Electronic Advertising (ASTROgram or website) 2 points for each $1,000 spent
    Partner Advertising (Red Journal, PRO or RO MarketPlace) 1 point for each $1,000 spent
    Print and Digital Listing Upgrade 1 point for each $1,000 spent
