Sponsored by the American Board of Radiology Foundation (ABRF) with support from the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), the American Board of Radiology (ABR), the American College of Radiology (ACR), the American Radium Society (ARS), the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).
The Online Modules on Ethics and Professionalism are designed to educate physicians and physicists about the attributes and nuances of ethics and professionalism that are essential to the practice of diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics. Each module is self-guided and includes self-testing features to help the reader assess his or her comprehension and application of the principles and practices described in the module.
Each module has been developed by an expert team of individuals and has been peer reviewed for content, quality, and clarity. These modules provide a basic understanding of ethics and professionalism issues, including the following topics:

Because the mission of the ABRF is to demonstrate, enhance, and continuously improve accountability to the public in the use of medical imaging and radiation therapy, the ABRF and the supporters listed on this page provide these modules without charge to all who can benefit from them. This activity has been approved for AMA Part 1 CME credit and has been qualified by the ABR for SAM credit in fulfillment of MOC requirements. Please note that credits for these modules will not be automatically transferred to the ABR through the CME Gateway. If you are seeking CME and/or SAM credit, you should attest to completion of the module(s) through your ABR Personal Database (PDB).
