Clinical Practice

ASTRO is committed to the development of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. Clinical practice guidelines are built from the body of established literature, relying primarily on evidence from randomized clinical trials. They provide physicians with guidance to help ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The guidelines listed below have been approved as ASTRO Clinical Practice Guidelines and are published in either the International Journal of Radiation Oncology•Biology•Physics or Practical Radiation Oncology.

ASTRO values the opportunity to endorse guidelines for clinical practice that are developed by external organizations. For consideration, please complete the Endorsement Request Form.

To suggest a topic for an ASTRO guideline, please fill out our Topic Submission Form.
