This multisociety guideline address three main therapeutic avenues—the use of bone-modifying agents, radiation therapy and surgery—and are intended to guide medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and primary care physicians in making timely referrals as well as provide guidance on the management of patients with metastatic or myelomatous lesions of the femur.
