The Three Little P's of Time Management and the Big Bad Wolf of Conflict

Managing your career successfully implies accomplishing what is most important for you. When you don't accomplish what you truly want, you
may feel confused, compromised and frustrated. The two key variables
in your day-to-day work are tasks and the people connected to them. The two key skills that you need to master to manage tasks and people are time management and conflict resolution. Effective time management must include techniques for good planning, prioritizing and procrastination, "the three little P's". But finding techniques that work for you time-wise are only good when you can negotiate them with the people in your life. Asking for time from people to do what you do well often feels like you are facing the big bad wolf, but using win-win conflict resolution techniques often takes the wind out of all that wolf's huffing and puffing. This session offers individual techniques that you can start tomorrow, and in several weeks time be "living happily ever after".

In Room CT: What have we Learned so Far?

The rapid adoption of in-room tomographic systems represents a dramatic example of widespread dissemination of complex technology. As very large numbers of clinics begin to use these systems, their limits and optimal paradigms for use are still being explored. This panel provides a cross-section of experts and early adopters of in-room tomographic capability. Following presentations on available systems (fan-beam and cone beam, diagnostic and megavoltage, isocentric and not) including their potential advantages and limitations, and interactive discussion will take place to address uses in targeting, treatment monitoring and potential plan adaptation.
