Organizations wishing to hold ancillary events in conjunction with ASTRO's 51st Annual Meeting in Chicago must first obtain approval from ASTRO. Depending on the type of event being held, ASTRO provides formal guidelines for applying for event approval.
Meeting Space Requests
Organizations interested in holding an event at one of ASTRO's official hotels that is not educational in nature must first fill out a request form. This form will be available in spring 2009.
Industry Satellite Symposium
Industry Satellite Symposium (ISS) refers to any activity, educational in nature, that is independently organized and offered by another organization and held in conjunction with ASTRO’s Annual Meeting. The ISS guidelines for the 2009 Annual Meeting will be available in spring 2009.
