Do you have specific coding questions or coding issues that you would like to submit for review by ASTRO's Code Utilization and Application Committee?

If so, please send an e-mail to codingquestion@astro.org, that includes:

  1. Your name and/or the name of the ASTRO affiliated member that you are contacting us on behalf of (if applicable);
  2. A telephone number and e-mail address where you can be reached during normal business hours;
  3. The company or facility name that you represent;

Please note members and nonmembers of ASTRO may submit coding questions/issues.

Upon receipt of your e-mail, we will respond to you as soon as possible. This process can take a few weeks as there are several steps your question must go through in order to provide the most accurate response. Below is a summary of the process.

  1. The question is circulated to ASTRO's Code Utilization and Application Committee for review and discussion.
  2. The committee's comments are summarized and drafted into a response.
  3. The draft response is reviewed by ASTRO's Health Policy Committee for approval.
  4. Once approved, the response is forwarded to the requester.
