Chief Resident Survey

ARRO has routinely monitored the evolving educational environment for residents through our annual chief resident survey. Information from these surveys has been previously disseminated through regular publications, allowing residents and their faculty to assess the quality of their training program relative to their peers. This year, we are developing a comprehensive series of publications, encompassing unpublished survey data from the past three years. Our goal is to identify key trends in the breadth of clinical training, the depth of formal didactics and the quality of research opportunities available to residents nationwide. By working with faculty mentors in ASTRO, we hope to develop plausible solutions to concerns raised in past survey data and stimulate discussion amongst residents and their faculty.

The ARRO Chief Resident and Resident surveys are conducted to assist ARRO in assessing if resident needs are being met in their training programs and to help determine any future needs. The survey results are also an important way for ARRO to stay in touch with the resident and to let the leadership know your concerns.
